The Justin J. Davis Heart Foundation (JJD Heart) was founded by Justin and his mother (Karen Brown-Davis) in 2017. Justin was diagnosed with a Left Ventricle Noncompaction Cardiomyopathy, a congenital heart defect (CHD), at age 24. Justin continued to support and volunteer for over 7 years despite his illness. He was blessed to receive a new heart on April 29, 2024, and continues to be a guiding voice during his recovery.
Mission
The Justin J. Davis Heart Foundation identifies, shares and provides tools and resources which promote a healthy heart focus/lifestyle within communities. We accomplish this while working collaboratively with stakeholders.
Vision
The vision of the Justin J. Davis Heart Foundation is to educate and raise awareness about Congenital Heart Defects (CHD), Heart Failure (HF) and Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) and to inspire and support persons affected by it. We envision a world where the risk factors of heart disease and certain death are eliminated.
