About

Karen Davis founded the JJD Heart Foundation in 2017 after her son Justin, was diagnosed with a congenital heart defect (CHD) at age 24. Since the beginning of COVID, the foundation has shifted its focus to food insecurity and access to healthier food options while continuing to provide information and education on heart-related issues.

Mission

The mission of the Justin J. Davis Heart Foundation is to identify tools and resources to share with the community to promote a healthy heart focus/lifestyle in underserved communities.
